Padded Armour Company - Early Medieval Short Sleeved Gambeson
This is a short sleeved early medieval gambeson /
acheton.

It's made with an outer of heavy linen, and lining
of shirtweight linen.
The padding is three layers of wool, and it's
straight quilted.

It has a keyhole neckline, is put on by pulling over
the head (it has no fastening), and the 'skirt' is split
back and front.
